Benefits of Joining the Flock

Join the Wisconsin Metro Audubon Society, a chapter of the National Audubon Society, serving the southern and western areas of Milwaukee and surrounding communities. Reap the benefits of being a member. With the introductory or renewal memberships the benefits include:

  • A 1-year subscription to Audubon, the full color, picture rich magazine about wildlife and the environment published by the National Audubon Society.
  • Membership in the Wisconsin Metro Audubon Society.
  • Membership in the National Audubon Society.
  • A 1 year subscription to The Trumpeteer, the newsletter published by the WMAS to keep you up-to-date with the local programs, current projects and educational birding and wildlife information.

There are 4 membership options:

  • Introductory, New Member: (National Audubon) - $20
  • Chapter Supporter: (WMAS) - $20/yr
  • Renewal Membership: (WMAS and National) - $40/yr
  • Business Membership: (WMAS) - $50/yr<

Chapter Supporter: At this $20 level, the entire amount remains with WMAS to help support local programs, conservation efforts, and environmental education. All information regarding Wisconsin Metro Audubon, including the newsletter, The Trumpeter, will be received. There will not be a National Audubon membership, or the Audubon magazine.

Renewal Membership: By renewing through WMAS, the basic $40 membership contribution provides vital support to our local conservation and education efforts. It guarantees that $20 of the $40 will remain with WMAS. The other $20 will go to National Audubon for a national membership and the magazine, Audubon, subscription.

Business Membership: The $50 membership is intended for businesses which would like to contribute to the Wisconsin Metro Audubon cause. In recognition of the annual $50 contribution, the business will be listed in the Trumpeter and promoted as a business to patronize.
